  • Conferences and Meetings
    • Ministerial Conferences Ministerial Conferences are held every two years to bring together Ministers from across the Bali Process Members and Observers
    • Bali Process Steering Group The Bali Process Steering Group is responsible for ensuring Bali Process objectives and priorities reflect regional needs
    • Senior Officials Meetings Senior Officials Meetings involving the full membership of the Bali Process take place ahead of Ministerial Conferences
    • Ad Hoc Group Meetings The Ad Hoc Group mechanism allows greater responsiveness in addressing situations on a case-by-case basis
    • Anniversary Events Anniversary events bring Members and Observers together to reflect on learning and progress and to look ahead to future challenges
    • Consultation Mechanism The Consultation Mechanism was established in 2016 to enable discussions on emergency irregular migration events

    • Technical Experts Group on Returns and Reintegration Aims to support timely, safe and dignified returns of migrants and enhance the effectiveness of return as a strategy
    • Working Group on Trafficking in Persons Aims to promote more effective and coordinated law and justice responses to combat trafficking in persons
    • Taskforce on Planning and Preparedness Aims to improve the region's preparedness, and support collaboration, around irregular, forced migration events
    • Working Group on Disruption of Criminal Networks Involved in People Smuggling and Trafficking in Persons Focuses on action-oriented activities for enhancing coordination to disrupt and dismantle criminal networks
