Summary: Bali Process Consultation Meeting on the Draft Materials for the Curriculum on Comprehensive Approaches for Addressing Irregular Movement by Sea, 15 September 2017

The Regional Support Office (RSO) of the Bali Process on People Smuggling, Trafficking in Persons and Related Transnational Crime hosted a Bali Process Consultation Meeting on the Draft Materials for the Curriculum on Comprehensive Approaches for Addressing Irregular Movement by Sea. The consultation was held on 15 September 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand. 

The event focused on the significance of the draft of the materials for the Curriculum on Comprehensive Approaches for Addressing Irregular Movement by Sea. The meeting brought together representatives of Ministry, Marine, Coast Guard, Search and Rescue and Navy agencies from Bali Process Member States, along with experts from member organisations. The delegates recognised the value of sharing insights and experiences regarding the growing scale and complexity of irregular migration challenges and welcomed the opportunity to network and consider opportunities to strengthen regional cooperation and collaboration.
